It works on most public webpages. Paywalled articles and pages that require a login may not extract correctly, since Sourclip can only access content your browser can already see.
Nowhere — all your clips and history stay in your browser using Chrome's local storage. Sourclip does not have a server that stores your content. The only exception is if you voluntarily join our waitlist, in which case your email is stored securely in Supabase.
Yes. The extension shows your notebooks and lets you pick one before sending. It remembers your last choice so repeat captures go to the right place automatically.
No. Sourclip only reads the current page when you click the icon. It does not run in the background, track your history, or alter any page content.
